  Okay don't believe the hype you are reading on these reviews. I read these reviews and chose to stay here because of them. I travel and stay in hotels every week and choose my hotel based on the customer reviews. This place was low down and dirty. The restaurant was the only good part about the whole place. I wouldn't even get into the bed. I refused to take my belongings into the room for fear they would be infested by a bug due to the fact I found a dead bug in the bed!! It basically made me feel like I was in a cheap/scary skid row type of place because of the cigarette burns galore. This place is definitely no where NEAR a 4 star. It doesn't even deserve the whole star I am giving it! The entire place was dirty and very outdated like it had been remodeled in the 70's or 80's. There was holes in the wall. The bathtub looked as if it should be on a crime TV show because some type of drug manufacturing had occurred in it. Trust me, I am not looking for a top-of-the-line room at the places I stay. All I want is for it to be clean and this place did not seem to be clean and the esthetics were like a haunted house.
  
  Trust me, keep driving down the road to Charleston if you think you want to stay here. And don't believe the reviews!
